Trolldruvemätaren

Trolldruvemätaren (Baptria tibiale fennica) is an endangered species of butterfly that lives deep in the forest. It is depending on its host plant Svart Trolldruva (Actaea spicata), which is becoming increasingly rare due to forest logging and deforestation.

Trolldruvemätaren is also the title of a scenic concert based on an ongoing collaboration between Ida Höög (recorder), Anna Eriksson (composer) and Ann Petersson Malmstedt (visual artist). The title focuses on nature's relationship with us humans. By reading and interpreting nature's events and signs in music and scenery, we create a performance where the voice of the forest can communicate.

We apply ecoscenography, i.e. the props are made from natural materials/objects, alternatively from recycled materials.

Premiere in August 2025.
