Sounding objects made from natural and found materials.


A selection from a solo exhibition on the theme of the earth and home. The objects accompanied the exhibited paintings and installations with, for example, the character of sound, structure and color.

Voice Rattle


Multi-colored sticks from different bushes and trees produce different sounds and tones.


Soundlessness


A circular silent willow twig.


Bone Rattle


Found bone fragments rattle against dry sticks.


Sand Rattle


Sand is encapsulated in a piece of desert driftwood and boxes made of snakeskin (shed skin).


Pomegranate Rattle


Pebbles in a pomegranate peel.

Shell Rattle


Yellow Littorina obtusata (flat periwinkle) and driftwood, blackened by tar.



Grapefruit Rattle


A grapefruit peel filled with rice.

Birch Bark Rattle


Gravel enveloped in bark.

Mussel shells and pine sticks.

Direction indicator filled with small bags of soil from various locations.
